Expand the reach of any serial device by network-enabling them for remote data collection, access and control. High-performance Quatech device servers offer industry-best features like fast and easy installation, powerful Freescale (formerly Motorola) processor for the industry`s lowest latency. When mission-critical applications require specific and complete emulation of a local serial COM port, the lowest latency possible or very high (up to 921K) baud rates, Quatech device servers are the best solution available. Options include industrial surge suppression, 5v power output (with standard surge suppression on 1 & 2 port RS-232 models only), DIN rail and rack mounting options, additional power in/out modes, screw terminal adapters and more. In addition, Quatech`s high performance line offers SNMP for simple network management and virtual COM port drivers for Windows NT4, 2000, XP and Linux. Raw TCP and UDP modes allow direct access from virtually all operating systems, and the exclusive IntelliSock TCP socket service allows for on-the-fly customization of the serial port for each data transmission. Quatech Device Servers may be set up as a Client or Server, or use the AutoTCP feature and operate as a Client to one computer while a Server to another (excellent for remote service needs). The Installation Wizard makes it easy to get any serial device up and running on your network in less than ten minutes! PRODUCT FEATURES: Most powerful device server available provides industry`s lowest latency and highest throughput; Powerful Freescale (PowerPC) Processor; Wired and Wireless available; Optional surge suppression and 5V power out.
